     When our children were young, they very much enjoyed working in a big coloring book about Babar, the elephant. Thirty years later our grandchildren became absorbed in reading and coloring in the last few pages of the Babar book, which I had saved. (moral - never throw anything out!) This was the inspiration for NanaBanana Classics Coloring Books. In these large and distinctive books we present classic tales with traditional illustrations for young artists to enjoy.

    NanaBanana Classics Coloring Books are inter-generational, as grown-ups also love to color and can help younger artists with the story line. Our fine quality paper enables young and old-er artists to experiment with different media, such as watercolors, markers and colored pencils.

    Today's world is full of bustle, noise and machinery. These must be balanced with quiet, sharing times, which all creatures need, no one more than children. We hope that our books will give flight to the imaginations and dreams of youngsters everywhere.

    NanaBanana wants to make a difference. Hence, our profits after taxes go to child-oriented charities. We have helped such organizations as Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camps, Ronald McDonald Houses, children's hospital clinics and wards including the Hospital for Special Surgery and Memorial Sloan-Kettering, and inner city schools.
